Inflatable Life Jacket for Adults with ARTIC asymmetric chamber. Homologated and certified according to SOLAS M.E.D., dual-compartment buoyancy chamber with X3D system, made of PA 420 PU COATED fabric with electronically controlled high-frequency welds. Real buoyancy 310 N (class 275 N).
The ARTIC chamber features an asymmetric design with a varied volume distribution from one side to the other. This system allows the body of the person overboard to be positioned safely even when wearing heavy clothing, thermal suits, military equipment or bulletproof vests. The special shape of the chamber prevents spray generated by wind and waves from reaching the casualty’s mouth, creating an effective splash barrier.

Designed to integrate with ballistic systems and tactical MOLLE platforms while maintaining the buoyancy performance and safety standards required for maritime operations. Attachment system compatible with MOLLE vests, tactical platforms and drop-leg systems. Integrated aerial recovery harness with two lifting loops.

ACTIVATION SYSTEMS
Automatic activation: upon falling into the water, the system is submerged and automatically inflates the buoyancy chamber within 5 seconds thanks to the UML MK5 salt-based activator. The two automatic systems activate simultaneously ensuring full inflation in less than ten seconds.
Manual activation: the system is activated by pulling the dedicated handle.
Oral inflation: occurs through the dedicated mouth tube with non-return valve and protective cap.

TECHNICAL FEATURES
Asymmetric dual-compartment buoyancy chamber with X3D rotation system. Thanks to its special asymmetric design it ensures high rotation speed even when wearing particularly heavy clothing. The “fin” structure positioned at the nape of the neck provides excellent support and perfect head stability. The overpressure valve releases excess air once the chamber is completely inflated.

Case in PL 600D PU COATED. Adult size, supported weight 43–140 kg, waist circumference up to 175 cm. Product dimensions approx. 55x34x7 cm. Product weight approx. 2024 g.

Automatic activation

Automatic: in the event of a fall into the sea, the system is submerged and activates autonomously, within 5 second, the inflation of the buoyancy chamber. Automatic activation is possible with the UML MK5 salt activator, through the dissolution of a water-soluble tablet, or with the hydrostatic activator Hammar MA1 through the pressure generated by immersion in water for at least 10 cm.

Manual activation

The system is activated through the draft of the appropriate lever. It comes with the manual activator UML MICROMANUAL and it will activate exclusively by hand.
