ACTIVATION SYSTEMS
Automatic activation (self-inflating life jacket): in the event of a fall overboard, the system is submerged and automatically activates the inflation of the buoyancy chamber. It is also possible to activate the life jacket manually.
Manual activation: the system is activated by pulling the appropriate lever.
Oral inflation: to inflate the chamber, simply blow into the oral tube. present in both self-inflating and manually activated life jackets.
 
The COMPACT 150 - SMART self-inflating life jacket is supplied with UML-MK5, an automatic activator with a water-soluble tablet, or alternatively HAMMAR, an automatic hydrostatic activator.
All SOLAS VSG inflatable life jackets have 2 oral tubes.
